The Banyan Tree Project
San Francisco, CA
The Banyan Tree Project is a national initiative
involving major urban cities uniting together to raise
awareness in the Asian & Pacific Islander Community around
the issue of HIV/AIDS.
The symbol of the banyan tree was used as it was the tree
under which Buddha had gained enlightenment. We
designed a logo that featured the banyan tree as an icon in
geometric shapes that symbolize order and balance in Asian
diagrams.
Additionally, the tagline of "Rooted in Acceptance" was
developed by the Hom Team to connect that only through
familial acceptance can people who are at risk or living
with HIV/AIDS can thrive.
As part of the corporate identity package, we also
developed
- Stationary templates on MS Word
so that the Client
can output at will
- Labels
- Folders
